If the sensor is bad and thinks the engine is at full throttle all of the time, it's going to deliver the fuel needed for full throttle.

If you had to replace one part it would be this. It is part 881070 for about $69.00. It is located on top of the throttle body and fairly easy to replace. Well, I just figured it out and now it steers real easy. There is a screw on the starboard side of the pivot housing. Back that screw out about 1/4 turn and see if that's it. That's a ease of steering adjustment, I guess. I hope that solves your problem.
