It was having issues of turning off and back on intermittently from when I first picked it up. I have 55% tint on the windshield, and I don't see how tint that light could cause any other issues. Aug 13, 2020 · Found something involving turning the engine on, then the lights on, pressing the Trip switch 4 times, then do the same after lights off/lights on again and 4 Trip presses, and that was for non-Crosstreks and about 6 years ago... Did not work, but maybe there's some method now to get the codes without a scanner for a 2019 Crosstrek. To fix it, remove the gas cap and then put it back on, tightening it until it clicks.
