Jan 30, 2018 · Remington Sportsman 48 issue. I just purchased a clean, working 48, and it's recoil-actuated. I removed the barrel and forearm to clean it, after getting it home. While I was wiping down the receiver, I heard a "click", and then noticed that there is an "arm" flopping up and down behind the bolt. and I assume that something came loose.
