The thumping, ticking, screeching, and what I’m assuming is injector knock, is almost Unbearable. Been in 3 different 2020’s and besides when mine melted down a dpf, I’ve yet to hear a quieter Dmax from factory. The assembly uses two NOx sensors: the first sensor (referred to as NOx sensor 1) is located near the turbo downpipe and measures engine out NOx. The second sensor (referred to as NOx sensor 2) measures NOx levels exiting the SCR catalyst. The SCR assembly contains a catalyst brick that requires DEF, or diesel exhaust fluid, for activation. 3002 miles, 1861 of which were pulling a 5th wheel trailer, only used 4.8 gallons of DEF, for an average of 625 MPG. 62% loaded miles.
