It has an aftermarket exhaust system and i have no idea if it was properly jetted or not to match the exhaust but my father has had this bike for a couple years now and has never had a problem till now. When engine is started the rear cylinder doesn't fire consistently. 2. The clutch setup could be a cheap one and you are now seeing or witnessing the cheapness of it. 3. Maybe a part in the clutch system has a fault in it. 4. Due to how you ride, probably wore out the clutch quicker. 5. Gear lever is an aftermarket part and isnt correctly installed or lined up properly.I have this very similar problem on a 99 Vulcan 850 Classic. Starts great, runs down the highway, then cuts out. Few minutes later after switch is turned off/on it will start and run for a few more minutes. I keep thinking fuel/vaccuum problem, but electrical sounds plausible too.
