Nov 20, 2021 · I already knew that liked the way the 2011 shot, so I chose the Staccato. A $2500 gun is the least of my worries if I have to use it in self defense. They're not that expensive for a 2011, I don't have one but I'd say they're probably worth it- especially if you qualify for the mil/le 15% off + 6 mags deal. Staccato XL. The Staccato is a fun gun that can be used in many capacities… I am currently waiting for my Staccato XC that I ordered just this week. I got it as a gift to myself to be used as a USPSA competition pistol and all around fun gun, that I can enjoy. I have other pistols for edc and competitions as well, but nothing that shoots like an XC…

Update to my response above. The Tac grip is worth it to me. I had a chance the stand at a premier staccato dealer and work with both grips back to back. The original is good until you try the Tac grip. Soon as I picked it up, wow this feels right. The original just felt a little slicker compared to the Tac and my hands were dry at the time.
