I have a rear sight pusher with an operating screw that has a 5/8 inch hex on it to push the sight out of the dove tail. The tool comes with a 4 inch 1/4 inch rod to stick through a whole in the hex head. Initial turning of the screw got ZERO movement.Thumb cock the hammer. . Rotate the hammer strut up against the hammer and apply a little upward pressure to keep the sear and hammer engaged.
