The Lectron 4 stroke carb is a High Performance carburetor, we are totally jet-less so we use one metering rod to control entire fuel circuit. My drz has an FCR39 (no choke). I live at 2000 ft and my trail rides take me routinely beyond 7500ft. It's a *bit richer, but there isn't a dramatic loss of power or anything. Folks who actually ride at varying altitudes make sure their carbs are tuned and just go ride. I read a little about the Lectron Carbs. They're big in the DRZ400 community, about as well mentioned as the FCR39. The self adjusting feature relies on the airflow on the metering rod, similar to that of an airplane wing.
