The new rear adapter is a one piece design, milled from 6061 aluminum and Type III black hard coat anodized. This new design is not only lighter and stronger, but most importantly it opens up the entire rear M-LOK slot.I recommend getting Briley M-lock handguard. Zhukov isn't worth it for a couple of M-LOK slots (the ones you can actually use) and weirdly exposed moving parts. OEM handguard looks way better esthetically. I would get Briley, keep OEM or wait for the A300 Ultima handguard being adopted for 1301.
