Beautiful lake and very quiet atmosphere in April. Fisherman noted around the lake. We did the 6 mile hike at Grindstone. It was a medium hike with slight inclines and then fairly flat. Be alert however. There may have been a mountain lion in the area as we came across a deer with a leg missing and a gutted belly.
