This issue still persists, I made a 2x3 (3 barrel parts and 3 tyre) raft base just made because every piece was deep inside a ship and i couldn’t get them out from the door so there were 6 tyres and 9 barrels all gone to waste because i cant break them apart. This is an idea for the program designer. Lets say a person has a 1 x 3 to a 2 x 3 raft. Extra sails will do nothing for you. However, if you have say anything equal to or up to a 2 x 4 to a 4 x 4 one extra sail will help it go faster. If you have anything bigger then a 4 x 4 then 3 sails will increase the speed.
