Eris rail gives you 75% for a short period, albeit on all damage, and is one of the best weapons in the game.

Recommending Achilles to a self-titled noob isn't a great choice IMO. I defeated Hades on 16 heat with every weapon and still couldn't learn Achilles aspect properly. It would require a lot of practice for OP as well, I assume. The almost ridiculous Zag-spear and hope for Flurry Jab, or how it's called, is the easy-cheesy way, for me.

Poseidon in attack is fun. The sweep passes through walls. Zeus ok special or Ares. Athena on attack is nice during stages with projectile foes but has diminishing use as you progress through bosses. Hades Aspect is overall the best and least intrusive Weapon Aspect. Achilles Aspect is hard to play but makes for very strong cast builds if the stars align. Remember that you can use your dash while charging your charge attack. Allows you to get some momentum when you unleash the attack that way.

I only took this in 3 specific circumstances: Lightning Strike builds, Hangover-centric builds, and the Rama bow where you have to hit everyone with your special before bringing the real pain with the shared attack damage. General rule of thumb is to go Zeus/Dioynsus for fast attacks, Artemis/Aphrodite/Athena for higher base damage attacks, and Ares doom for something in between.
