Jake brake not working on high.

Easy to hear, but not in the cab with all the damned bells going off. Mine cycles. No codes. If I do a run in lower gears and let the boost and exhaust pressure build (I have three gauges for pressure, Boost, Exhaust, and Wastegate controller) and sidestep the throttle the brake works partially and holds some of the exhaust pressure.

Confirmed the computer is seeing all switches working and high/med/low in Cat ET. Computer knows what is should be doing basically. Set the mode to manual in Cat ET. Tested wiring going from valve cover plug to jake solenoids for continuity. Good. Manually activated each of the three jake solenoids and watched them work.

My Jake brakes were working good then they suddenly got week. Manifold pressure is down as well but I believe its a sensor because the truck is running good. Changed out all three sylinoids. jakes are working in low med and high however doesnt hold you back. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do. The 08 and up EGR/DPF ones do have a Jake optional and it works extremely well, however the older ones get an exhaust brake and it is mediocre but up to about 35k it works well enough. Got to keep the RPM about 2500 for maximum effect. Blows a lot of oil out the slobber tube.

There should be a tag on the valve cover. It could start with 4CK, 8TC, or 5EK. I mainly need to know if this is a 3406 PEEC engine or a 3406E. A PEEC engine is half electronic and half mechanical. If it is a PEEC, ir will have a pump and external fuel lines. If it is a 3406E, it will not have a pump and external fuel lines.
